This CURT hitch is very nice, easy install and looks great! The other 3 hitches I was looking at was the Hidden hitch & Drawtite which are the same except name. They are made buy the same manufacture these hitches where priced higher and when looking from behind at the vehicle the right side of the hitch drops bellow the muffler very ugly and the factory KIA hitch looks them same also but cost $350.00 proably made buy Hidden hitch. The 3 was a valley hitch or Uhaul it looks good just like the CURT but the price was higher $169.99. I highly recommend the CURT hitch and if you have a KIA Sorento V6 in EX or LX I recommend the 56024 Curt T connector for wireing. The factory hookup is behind the left rear tire just plug in and you are ready.

I bought a Hidden Hitch for my Ford Escape so I could add a Thule bike rack. The hitch was moderately easy to install. It took more like an hour (instead of the estimated 20 minutes) to install it onto my Escape. But it was well worth the time spent as it is barely visible. It has the strength to tow vehicles and boats, but I'll be using it mainly for bike and ski/snowboard racks. I definitely recommend this product. AutoAnything shipped it to me in less than two days, but it literally came without any packaging and so there were a few minor scratches in its paint, but it's hidden so it doesn't really make any difference. Excellent value, awesome product, and extremely fast shipping from AutoAnything!

Instructions said that I should drop the exhaust pipe for installation. This is not required as there is enough flexibility in the rubber mounting to install and torque bolts without dropping the exhaust. However, the right side bolt hole pattern was off. Two holes did not line up perfectly with the nut plates. To install the rear bolt on the right side, I had to widen the right rear hole slot about 0.040" using a small Dremel grinding wheel in order to get this bolt threaded into the nut plate. This re-op quickly solved the problem, but it took a long time to diagnose this slightly off bolt pattern problem. I suggest the manufacturer check hole slot machining positions on the right side and correct patterns if required.

We have had rain and wind for a while and I was putting off installing the hitch on my 97 F250, but today was fine so I attacked the job. I was amazed at how easy it was to install. All the bolt holes lined up, I only had to use one of the supplied spacers, and I found that using a tapered drift and a C-clamp on each side I could hang the hitch while I got everything ready. Nice product. I have a Thule bicycle rack that now holds our two bikes, an Alaskan Camper, and a canoe on the camper for fun in every occasion.Geoff in Grass Valley California

The hitch fit perfectly and the install was straight forward once proper fasteners were obtained. Two of the provided fasteners were the wrong size for the factory mounting location. Went to dealership, hardware store, and fastener store and was unable to find the very specialized missing bolts. Ultimately had to tap out the frame to get a bolt that would work. Additionally on the Mazda MPV the muffler rattles against the hitch, making it sound like the van is falling apart as it runs down the road. My kid's bouncy ball cut in half and glued to the hitch next to the muffler solved the rattle problem. So far so good once the install was complete. I'd buy it again, just know the provided hardware doesn't work.
