It seems to be just what I wanted but the installation, which should have been very easy, turned out to be a lot more difficult because the structure was bent. I guess I should have suspected this because one of the arms was sticking out of the side of the box but I noted no dings, etc. on it. So being bent, it did not line up with the bolt holes on my Volvo C70. To fix it, we had to take it off and put it in a vice to bend it back to where it belonged. From that point it was a snap. While this isn't Curt's fault per se, perhaps the shipping package could have been more protective.
After installing the hitch I came into the house and my wife inquired when I was going to start the install. I told her I was done already. She laughed and said are you sure I did not hear any swearing or tools thrown to the floor. I told her that was because the hitch was well engineered and installed easily with good instructions. Their website video was a great help.
