Your cockpit is like a cold-blooded snake—it can't regulate its own temperature. If it's scorching hot outside, your interior sizzles. And if it's icy out, your cab is guaranteed to be bone-chillingly cold. Keep your ride comfortable all year round with the WeatherTech TechShade Windshield Sun Shade.
In the dead of winter or the dog days of summer, your two-sided WeatherTech TechShade flip-flops between reflecting and absorbing sun light. Face the silver side forwards when it's warm, and light bounces away, cooling your cockpit and shielding against sun damage. When there's a chill in the air, turn the black side forward to soak up the solar rays, warming your interior and helping stop your windshield from icing over.
Unlike universal windshield shades, your WeatherTech TechShade is completely custom sized for a perfect fit in your car, truck or SUV. Its integrated suction cups ensure a shift-free fit against your glass, and it rolls up for easy storage. Plus, WeatherTech backs your TechShade Windshield Sun Shade with a 3-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

The shade fits good but when I roll it up sometimes I can not secure it with the attached strap. The strap is too short. You have to roll the shade up very tightly in order to use the strap.

The shade fits nicely. It didn't arrive in time to try it with the hot weather. I hope it works well with cold weather since it is reversible. The suction cups help keep it stuck to the windshield but you really don't need them if you use the visors. I think the Velcro strap to roll it up is too short, so I fastened an extra Velcro tie to extend it. You can buy Velcro ties or straps at any store that sells Velcro.

So far as a sun shade during hot weather I have know complaints. It does keep my truck cooler. I haven't had it long enough to try in cold weather. Also it is one of the first sun shades that actually fits my truck windshield. I didn't give it a 5 star for a couple of reasons. It is a little awkward to work with. It is not the easiest shield to roll up and install especially around rear view mirror. Also it is a little pricey. I haven't had any problems with Weather Tech products yet!

This was a great idea to make custom fitted sunshades, too many times before have purchased the generic "one size fits most vehicles" mantra and they never did the job quite right either covering a portion or not fitting at all. This sunshade rights those attempts and I can tell and feel the difference. There is however one thing that should changed or fixed to make this product a true marvel. The suction cups work great however, they are not able to hold the weight of the sunshade and consequently slide right out of the premade holes in the sunshade. Was this a big deal? No not really however for the price it would have been better that all parts worked as they should, the fix is a relatively simple one but this not stop this product from doing its job which is to repel the heat. Great product with some minor adjustments it would be my top recommended sunshade for your vehicle!
