The Desktop holds the computer securely and can be set to a comfortable typing position. Was worth the cost for the time savings. I am able to do all my data entry prior to leaving my customer/leads location. I no longer have to wait until I get to the hotel at night and spend hours getting my CRM program caught up. The storage area under the computer top, is a little difficult to use in my vehicle, because of the center arm rest design, I have to slide the arm rest back to access it. Larger items like a Rand McNally Map do not go in easily, because of Transmission gear selector and arm rest. Would be a better design if desktop was hinged with a lock/release on the front for access

I was so sick of trying to work in my vehicle with things in boxes and sliding around. This desk is great! I love that the laptop can slide over and slide back when not in use. Everything is easily accessible and I don't have to worry about it sliding off the seat.
