TracRac T-Rac Pro2 Truck Bed Rack Part #37004 Customer Reviews

Good looks and quality, strong enough to throw a few ladders on and drive down the freeway without feeling like they will fall off.

This is the second TracRac I have owned. The first was used on my 2002 Chevy S10 for well over ten years with no problems. I selected the T-Rac Pro2 for my 2014 Tacoma because of my previous experience and knowing that this would be a quality rack. The only problem I had was that the mounting bolts are about 2 inches too long. I used the ones included but plan to switch them out with shorter ones over the summer. Other than that little annoyance this is a GREAT RACK!

I installed the TracTrac Pro2 and over cab unit about a week ago. Installation was surprisingly easy. The rack seem quite solid and should work well for my purposes; kayaks, lumber, fishing gear, etc. If the rack holds up, and I see no reason it shouldn't, I would up both the quality and price/value to 5 stars

Designed very well. Fit and finish is very good. Strong and stable when mounted to the truck bed rail. Install was fairly simple as the instructions are done well and include pictures.

I did have difficulty installing on my 2005 Tacoma Quad cab. The standard bed liner had some square compartments up front which had to be removed to fit the hold down clamps. I don't know why this wasn't addressed.

These are great looking and quiet, and I'm sure they'll be up for just about any task I need them for. Installation of the endcaps was tricky, and I didn't even try to use the 3-in. machine screws that clamp the racks down (bought shorter stainless steel socket head screws for that).

Best thing is how cool it looks installed. Doesn't look like those beater racks you see on the contractor trucks. Clean design and tough powder coat finish. Strong. Slight wind noise at 80mph. Slight bolt hole misalignment during installation - easily overcome by starting bolts without pieces fully assembled. Strongly recommend.
