I wanted to see if I could put it together myself, and I did. It took a little while. Watching the video first was a huge help. It fits as advertised. I set it up in my driveway for a practice run. I love it. I had a problem with one of the awning poles. The black plastic clasp on the bottom pole was cracked, and I am not able to secure the length of the pole. I will have to find out about getting a replacement. I can't wait to go out camping next month.

I purchased this truck tent for my 22 year old son for Christmas. It was not any more difficult to put up than a regular tent. It was easier to assemble it on the ground and then lift into the bed using 2 people. however, 1 person assembly is possible. I like that it is completely enclosed including down around the bed. It fit in the 6' bed of a Ford Ranger just fine.
