Napier Sportz SUV & Minivan Tents Reviews

1st time we used it.

Reviewed By George J (Los Osos, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Nissan Xterra —6/20/2012 8:50 AM

We purchased a single (no extended sun room) model of the Napier Sportz SUV tent. Unfortunately, our test experience was at a very dusty campground at an event with thousands of people. We suffered a bit from the extreme dust that was kicked up and it was a chore to get the tent cleaned up at home afterward. I can not really fault the tent in any way, as it performed as advertised. It will get used again hopefully on grass or pavement next time.

Worth the extra dollars

Reviewed By Cass K (Santa Clara, CA) Reviewed for a 2010 Nissan Xterra —8/23/2017 8:04 AM

The ARB is a little more expensive than some of the other models out there, but I would say they are worth the extra cost. I had a 8' Smittybuilt installed on the Xterra already. A little too long for this vehicle, so it is being relocated to the travel trailer. While I like the Smitty, this ARB is better quality. Fabric looks identical. The ARB poles and mount are bigger/stronger materials. Poles fold cleanly in separate tracks. Tie downs and pins are beefier.

ARB Awning Room

Reviewed By Scott H (Sayreville, NJ) Reviewed for a 2014 Nissan Xterra —4/18/2016 10:41 AM

I had a chance to use my awning and the room for the first time. I have to say they are great but doing it on a windy beach for the first time was a little bit tricky at first now I know how it goes so it is super easy. The key is the logo side(which the picture on the website does not show) also has a zipper (more about that in a minute) goes outward. Unzip and slide into the rail between the poles then side the room on the rail on your vehicle then the rest is straight forward.
