LOVED THE TENT. PRICE, QUALITY, APPEARANCE WERE GOOD. PUTTING IT TOGETHER WASN'T TO BAD. THE ONLY THING WE HAD WITH IT WAS PUTTING IT ON THE TRUCK BED. MAYBE THE NEXT TIME IT WILL BE EASIER. THE INSTRUCTIONS NEED TO EXPLAIN A LITTLE MORE AT THE END AS TO HOW IT WOULD LAY AND STRAP ON THE BEDSIDE, HOW TO STRAP THE RAIN TOP, AND HAVE A TROUBLESHOOT IF SOMETHING MIGHT NOT FIT CORRECTLY. BUT OVER ALL MY SON LIKED IT.

First thing I read was "Don't attempt to install the top if the temperature is below 72 deg F. It's February in Utah and I did it anyway. Assembly went well. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and there was no permanant modification to my truck which I appreciated. When It came time to stretch the cover over the frame I had to put a propane heater in the back of the truck but once warmed up it stretched out nicely. I have yet to collapse it in the cold so I don't know for sure but I suspect that I will have to repeat the heating process if I do. With the exception of the supplied third light, the quality seems to be really good. it's made just like a soft shell jeep top. the material is thick and tough and the vinyl side windows have surprisingly good optics. They are almost as clear as glass. The top stretches really tight and is sturdy on the truck. It gives the truck a rugged look that I like and it weighs and costs a lot less than a hard shell. Also much easier to store! I have driven it in one rain storm so far and some water did get in around the tail gate but none of the furnature that I was hauling got wet.
