"Would recommend to others. Be careful when putting the poles into the stirrups the fabric rips easy." —Mike N from Asheville, NC bought a Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, 5' short bed.
"Tent fit like it was made for my truck. Took less than 1/2hr to set up and kept my dry through 3 rainy nights in a row.
I would recommend waterproofing the rain fly before you need it as I did have a few drips on the third night." —Terrance W from Stockbridge, GA bought a CampRight Truck Tents for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, Short bed (approx. 5' 0").
"Bought the tent just before Memorial Day and it arrived just before I was packed up and ready to leave. When we got to the campground my daughter helped me put it up. Would've been nice to have had direction in putting it up. I bought the mattress too. While sleeping the first night I noticed a tent pole we didn't put up that went from the cab to the back of the tent. The rain fly was on so it covered it up. Overall the tent worked out great and looked great on my blue truck." —Nancy B from Renton, WA bought a Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma.
"This is the second one of these that I have owned and I Love them. Of course my other was for a full size, long bed Silverado and this one is for a short box Tacoma, but it is plenty roomy for me. It seems to be a little long near the end of the truck as it hangs over a little but I got it adjusted good enough to not slide over. It could of been my adjustment of the straps though. I ordered the higher quality truck bed air mattress to go with it and it makes all the difference in the world. Now with my sleeping bag in a stuff sack, truck tent in carry bag, and air mattress with carry bag, jumping in the truck for a quick camp getaway is a breeze. Add a case of water and MRE's and you got a Bug Out Bag system for emergency's, if needed." —Michael B from Cabot, AR bought a Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma.
"Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I set it up in my Tacoma short bed. Looks good, set up easy enough. Tiny bit long for my short bed but still no problem. Looking forward to using it this summer and fall." —Allen H from Norman, OK bought a Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, 5' short bed.
"I set up the tent in my driveway the first time and it was very easy to install. My Longbed Tacoma has a roll lock cover installed and the tent fit the bed perfectly without any modification. It also looks great on my blue truck!
Went to the lake this weekend and was very comfortable, the best part is that I can simply lift the assembled tent out of the truck when I needed to trailer the boat, then drop it back in without missing a beat.
Thanks" —John O from Katy, TX bought a Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, 6' short bed.
"I got the tent and practiced putting it up before my trip next week. The instructions are not very good. It sets up like any other tent save for the straps that hold it down. I found it very difficult to put the poles into the stirrups by myself. When putting in the inside pole, (the black pole), the stirrup at the door ripped a bit as the pole was seated. Hope it holds.
The fit is good, and with the straps, look likes it will hold up in a pretty strong wind. The 3 "door" straps that go around the tailgate... only got one connected. The instructions aren't very clear about their use.
I think the tent will serve me well with what I need it to do." —John M from Bonney Lake, WA bought a Napier Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, 6' short bed.
