We were very excited to get the truck tent in the mail and once it did arrive we were eager to put it up to see how it was going to work.I never imagined it would take us 3.5 plus hrs to put it together.Toss the instructions because they tell you to look for colors you don't even have like Orange. Now that is up we love it and it has lots of room. We have not used it yet but will be using it here in the next day or two. I just hope we get it together much quicker this time.

It's a good thing that I'm a puzzle nut because assembling this tent for the first time was a challenge. The instructions must have been written for the blue and white circus tent version because we could find no correlation between camo pole colors and the colors in the instructions. Now that we have "figgered" it out, it will go much better the next time. The tent survived several violent rain/wind storms while we had it up for a test run. This tent is worth the extra cost.

I used the tent for the first time this weekend, it worked out great. It looks good on the truck and I don't have to worry about water. The instructions were a little unclear and it took a few of us reading them with trial and error to put it together. I recommend doing the setup on the ground and then putting into the back of the truck. The awning stayed us with no issues even in windy conditions.

Con: Incorrect instructions provided with product - go on line and pull down the right ones; otherwise you will burn hours trying to figure out the poles configuration. Con: Out of the box the interior pole fell apart in my hand - the bungie teather was not tied :-( Con: Spendy little tent.... Pro: One of the few truck tents that fit over bed rails. Pro: Quick set up - once you crack the pole code Pro: Auto Anything was very responsive in sending me a new pole

So,I left my tent in the factory package until I went camping, depending on the" easy set up."once I got there we went fishing and I was expecting a easy set up when we got back....MEN, throw away the directions, put the poles together, and figure it out yourself, a lot easier this way. Directions don't match the color codes, and they just plain out suck....but still a bad ass tent!
