Frustrating searches for a clean, dry and level camp site are now a thing of the past. With the Sportz Truck Tent 57 Series—just park, pitch and voilà—you’re living it up in a cozy home away from home. Camping out doesn’t get more convenient than this.
The rain fly’s built-in awning provides cool shade and a grand entrance to your luxury lodge. What’s more, it boasts a level of protection not found in ground tents. I put it on my Tacoma short bed pickup and it worked great. I recommend using a tall air mattress. That way the bed covers the wheel wells and you can use the full width of the truck bed as a sleeping area.

I would look at their video online about setting up the tent before going to a place without the capabilities to do so. The directions are a little vague. The video is GREAT though and you will have no problem getting it done after the video. This tent is fantastic in every way once you learn to set it up!!!

We like to drive till we find just the right spot. Sometimes high on a mountain along some forestry road, sometimes alongside a river or stream out in the middle of nowhere. Setting up this tent is the perfect solution to 'camp where you wind up'. Sets up in 20 minutes easily. Lots of headroom, my 5'2" wife can stand up inside! So many zipper options for the windows/vents. Didn't think I'd like the awning part but now that I've tried it, it's nice. Glad I got it.

I tested the directions in the most difficult situation possible. At night by flashlight. The directions were not even close to how the tent was to be set up. The color codes of the poles were different. The explanation of how to attach the straps around the tail gate were pathetic. I had to go to the video and watch the video to discover how to properly attach the straps around the tailgate. So from the video I wrote my own directions. The tent is great once set up.

I not sure if AutoAnything or Napier is selling old stock, but both the printed instructions and the set-up video on Napier's website are incorrect. There are no orange poles and the pole insert pockets on the tent itself are not orange-colored. The proper poles to use are black; since almost all of the poles are black, determining the correct poles takes some trial and error. Others have noted it's easier to setup the tent off the truck, that's true. Rainfly could have more coverage.

Tent looks great on the truck. My wife and I set the tent up in the driveway to make sure we knew how to set it up for camping. For the most part it was pretty easy, once we knew what poles went where. The tent fits great and adjustment straps make sure it's a snug fit.
