The great outdoors is a lot greater when you're up off the cold damp ground. And face it, there's nothing outdoorsy about a motel. So what's a comfort-seeking adventurer to do? Break camp with the Rightline Gear Truck Tent! Transforming the back of your pickup from bed to bivouac faster than you can say K.O.A., the Rightline truck tent is your instant home-away-from-home.

Camping has never been easier. Just park and pop your tent. It goes up with no stakes or guidelines—and your feet never leave the ground. And, the Rightline Gear truck tent's floorless design means you don't even need to empty the bed. Protective straps and nylon buckles are easy on your truck's finish, and the water-resistant, tape-sealed fabric keeps you camping high and dry.

To crank up the comfort, the Right Line truck bed tent comes with gear pockets, lantern hanging hook and glowing zipper pulls. Plus, it features a sky-view vent that lets sleep under the stars when it's clear and batten down the hatches when it's stormy. And best yet, Rightline Gear includes the truck tent, rainfly, stuff sack and sewn-in set up guide, and a 1-year warranty.

Very Cozy

Reviewed by Julie M (SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA) Reviewed for a 2012 Toyota Tacoma — Jul 03, 2014 7:35 AM

We set up the tent for the first time in the dark, so I'm not sure I did it correctly. It seemed too tight on the tail gate end. But overall, it provided great shelter and was quite cozy!

Very easy set up once you figure out how. The instructions could be a lot better. If you punch into you tube the kind of tent it will show you step by step and it will help you put it together a lot easier. Very nice tent. Has a few screen windows as well. I even have a tool box mounted on the inside and the tent still fits over.

Fits very well, looks great, and affordable. I'd recommend practicing set up a few times before you take it out camping. Takes a few times to get the hang of it.

nice tent, misleading ad

Received tent and after the usual confusion attempted to set up on my 2010 F-150, 8' bed beauty! Well, it was quite a bit harder than the video lets on, but that's not what bothers me. The ad on Auto/Any's site says this tent WILL fit on my truck EVEN with a tool box! Well, it does, but it stretches the tent to the seams breaking point. This is NOT acceptable. I specifically chose it to fit over the box! NVH!!

This is a well designed product, and set up is fairly straightforward. Watch the video first, and be prepared to shift the tent around a bit to accommodate the contours of your truck. I've not camped with it yet.
