Bad ideas in truck bed tool storage: "The Bucket Brigade"
"The Bucket Brigade" is a common scene at job sites across the country. It's the age-old phenomenon of stuffing your tools, hardware and supplies into empty buckets in your truck bed. The Bucket Brigade is an understandable practice, given all the empty buckets a contractor can get his/her hands on: paint buckets, stain buckets, cable buckets, even orange buckets pinched from a certain home mega-mart. The Bucket Brigade usually ends with spilled, busted and rusted gear that dies way before its time, though. It's better to go with the security and protection of a truck bed toolbox instead, and save the buckets for tools you're willing to loan out.
