Description

Full-sized toolboxes may hold a lot, but they trim your truck's bed length at least 2 feet. What's worse, they're nearly impossible to reach when your bed's fully loaded. Break free from the traditional and bolt on Dee Zee's innovative Wheel Well Toolbox.

Anchored behind your truck's wheel hump, the Wheel Well Toolbox leaves your rig's bed open for longer freight. Plus, your Wheel Well Toolbox mounts right up against the side wall of your truck bed. You can easily reach your stuff without any hassle. No more climbing across your cargo or stretching over the side of your rig to get to that 5/8" socket.

Crafted from diamond-treaded aluminum, the Wheel Well Toolbox can endure almost any punishment. It's even powder coated to stop rust dead in its tracks. Yet, its lockable lid lifts with ease, thanks to its sturdy piano hinge.

The Wheel Well Toolbox comes in a Polished Brite-Tread or black finish, and is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Notes

  • In order to ensure a secure, shift-free fit on your truck, some minor drilling is required during the installation of your Wheel Well Toolbox.

looks good, lock didnt close all the way. I had to grind 3/4 of an inch of of the locking arm to get it to close all the way. Other than that it works and looks pretty god.

Just what I was looking for... Narrow enough to keep 48+" clear width in my 08 F150... Rattles around a bit on dirt roads...Lock is not really meant for high security...Good for straps and a few tool ect...

I like it because I can put dirtbikes, a snowmobile, a camper shell, whatever in or on the truck still. My only gripe is the black box came with plain aluminum colored mounting brackets that mount to the outside of the box.

Its a nice tool box, but its not deep enough. I have one on the side that just fits my jack and tow strap nothing else. I think the tool box needs to go from the top of the bed to the bottom of the bed.

The box looks great and installed rather easily. The first rain proved that it isn't waterproof. I added some caulking in a couple joints and better weatherstripping where the lid contacts the box (also drilled a small hole on each side to serve as a drain if water does come in). Hopefully this will take care of most of it. I have a smaller four-wheeler (Honda 300 4X4 with wide mudders) and it will still fit in my truck after the box was installed, so I'm happy. The only thing I'm worried about now is how well the keyed latches will work in the winter time??? Overall, a decent tool box for the price!

I bought this toolbox for my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 Long box. The mounting brackets for the toolbox are made to attach under the bed rails, where the toolbox sits they cannot be used for my truck, I ended up rotating the back bracket and using a different bracket for the front..after I got the toolbox installed it looks great and holds all the stuff I had sitting in the bed. I still have room to load my ATV and the full length of the bed, I am happy with the product so far.

Love the boxes. They were exactly what I was looking for. I was able to install "backwards" by using the passenger box on the driver's side, and the opposite on the passenger side. This allows the deep end of the box to be near the cab which maximizes the space in the truck bed and keeps the box clear of my gooseneck trailer. The install was relatively quick and easy. The only con I have is that you have to use the key to unlatch the box. Also, the latch kept sticking on one of the boxes, and I had to rebend to get it to work properly. I've since replaced the keyed lock with a handle that can be locked if necessary. Otherwise, its a great product. Appreciated the quick order response and prompt shipping. Keep up the good work. I'm a confirmed customer!
