Full-sized toolboxes may hold a lot, but they trim your truck's bed length at least 2 feet. What's worse, they're nearly impossible to reach when your bed's fully loaded. Break free from the traditional and bolt on Dee Zee's innovative Wheel Well Toolbox.
Anchored behind your truck's wheel hump, the Wheel Well Toolbox leaves your rig's bed open for longer freight. Plus, your Wheel Well Toolbox mounts right up against the side wall of your truck bed. You can easily reach your stuff without any hassle. No more climbing across your cargo or stretching over the side of your rig to get to that 5/8" socket.
Crafted from diamond-treaded aluminum, the Wheel Well Toolbox can endure almost any punishment. It's even powder coated to stop rust dead in its tracks. Yet, its lockable lid lifts with ease, thanks to its sturdy piano hinge. The Wheel Well Toolbox comes in a Polished Brite-Tread or black finish, and is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

I have a Dodge 3500. The notch out that goes over wheel we'll is a lot bigger than it needs to be. This wastes a lot of would be storage space. Instead of a universal box, a box built for specific trucks would be nice.

There are no instructions and I am disappointed that it is not custom fitted to the truck I have. If I were to mount it as the advertised picture shows, the top of the toolbox would be 4 inches below the top of the truck box. If the toolbox would be mounted next to the side, one couldn't open the lid.

I liked everything about the toolbox except the installation instructions. There are vague and incomplete. I am a handy guy and can figure it out but it would have been a quicker installation if the instruction were a little more precise.

This box is very well built and I would deffinently buy another one. You have to istall a door on the iside of the box and it is fairly hard to get all the holes lined up while the box is on the ground. Also the latch that goes underneath the piece of aluminium on the indide of the box to latch it didnt line up, so the box didnt lock at first, but with a little modifying it worked.

1. At this price the holes for the shelf should have been already drilled. 2. Front and rear panels were not flat even after the shelf was installed. 3. Weld blow through in one box. 4. At this price diamond plate is too thin making boxes troublesume to close each time used. 5. Hienge area of top bent. 6. Would NOT buy this product again.

I like how I have the full length of the truck bed available. Only slight negative is the set of indentations running near the top horizontally. I suppose it strengthens the box and allows for a tray, but it does limit the width of items you can store below it.

looks good. Too cold to install at present. UPS failed to deliver. Had to call, they made excuses, saying they had been here when they were not, else they could have left it here. I had to go pick it up at another location.
