Good box serves its purpose

This box is very well built and I would deffinently buy another one. You have to istall a door on the iside of the box and it is fairly hard to get all the holes lined up while the box is on the ground. Also the latch that goes underneath the piece of aluminium on the indide of the box to latch it didnt line up, so the box didnt lock at first, but with a little modifying it worked.

1. At this price the holes for the shelf should have been already drilled. 2. Front and rear panels were not flat even after the shelf was installed. 3. Weld blow through in one box. 4. At this price diamond plate is too thin making boxes troublesume to close each time used. 5. Hienge area of top bent. 6. Would NOT buy this product again.

I like how I have the full length of the truck bed available. Only slight negative is the set of indentations running near the top horizontally. I suppose it strengthens the box and allows for a tray, but it does limit the width of items you can store below it.

looks good. Too cold to install at present. UPS failed to deliver. Had to call, they made excuses, saying they had been here when they were not, else they could have left it here. I had to go pick it up at another location.

Just what I was looking for... Narrow enough to keep 48+" clear width in my 08 F150... Rattles around a bit on dirt roads...Lock is not really meant for high security...Good for straps and a few tool ect...

Questions about Toolbox?
Does the toolbox lock and does it matter which side the top swings open to? I noticed on the smaller boxes that you must indicate either the driver/passenger side. Is there a reason you do not have to with this box?
