This is a great box i only have two complaints. First, when i opened the box the first time it had swirls and smears of a white paste or powder, i have no idea what this was but you'd think before they packed up their product for shipping that they'd at least clean it. Second, when it arrived to me the box and crate had been mishandled, this was evident from the bashed corners and footprints on top, however i believe this is another fault of the company since they listed the contents of the box as pulp wood, which can be treated any old way and doesn't care. If they cleaned it before they sent it out so it didn't look already used and if they actually listed it right on the shipping manifest it would have been a lot better and probably would avoid all the mishandling and damage complaints that they receive

Other than a few welding marks that where not buffed out on the exterior it looks & works great. Opens from eather side with a push of a button and closes smooth & easy with a gentile push. seals well just had a heavy rain & not a drop inside.

The construction of the box is good. Be careful when you order. Measure carefully. The box I ordered was listed in Delta's application guide as fitting my truck. (2006 Silverado 4 dr 1500 5'8" wheelbase). It didn't. Delta's packaging leave a bit to be desired. The box was truck shipped and one corner of the lid was bent. There is some cardboard overwrap and a 4 pressed cardboard corner protectors. Customer service has been helpful but this was a frutrating purchase.

Can you tell me if the Delta Crossover Toolbox comes with the J-bolts for secure installation without drilling? In particular, I'm looking for a black crossover tool box to fit my 2012 Nissan Frontier King Cab, standard bed however, I do not want to drill the side rails of the bed.

Hello. Tool boxes in general are not vehicle specific. They are size specific. In order to figure out the toolbox application you will need to know specific dimension for the opening of your truck bed. Unfortunately we cannot cross reference the box size of your truck using the year make and model. The cross over toolboxes we carry do not have a j-bolt of any kind that we are aware of. We offer several brands in many sizes. Most toolboxes are installed by drilling holes. Thank you for your question.
