Ever wish you could bring your favorite tools safely and securely with you on the road? You can—thanks to the Dee Zee Red Label Utility Chest. This truck tool chest allows you to bring your essential tools along in the back of your truck bed.
Unlike most flimsy portable toolboxes, your Red Label Utility Chest boasts a solid, 3-piece welded construction from heavy-duty aluminum. Equipped with a closed-cell foam gasket, your tools are safe from water and other debris. Plus, you get a removable tray to keep your small tools organized.
Thanks to its crowned lid and the full-length hidden hinge, your tool chest has added structure for a long life of tool toting. Also, with its dampening gas shocks, your toolbox always opens and closes at a controlled rate. What's more, the truck chest features self-centering tightly closing latch strikers—that means they never need adjustments. And, your Dee Zee Red Label Utility Chest is backed by a limited Lifetime Warranty with a 1-year warranty on finish.
Our 9+ Dee Zee Red Label Utility Chest customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

The chest that I ordered and received was exactly what I needed and wanted. The quality seem to be of excelent quality. I have not tested for water leakage, so I do not know if it leaks. Bellford

Nice shiny box. leaks like a sieve. I had to raise it off the bed of the truck with 2x4 planks because every rain, when water collected in the bed, it would fill the box too. all my tools are rusty now, and blankets and other emergency items stored in the box, are now worthless. good strong box though. fits as advertised.

Has anyone other than the one reviewer had any leakage problems and does the chest open freely in the bed? Also, is there a way to easily remove the chest after it is attached to the truck bed or do I have to rig something up?
