For true tailgaters, the VDP Wheel Well Sound Storage comes with a 6” x 9” 2-way marine grade speaker that boasts 180W maximum power. Love the boxes. Went to a local truck accessories store and they could not find boxes to fit under tonneau. Dee zee listed for my truck DO NOT FIT. They sit above rail. Yours are PERFECT! THANK YOU.

I haven't really had a chance to use this storage well much since I installed it last week. I bought it primarily to haul around a hitch and other frequently used accessories. So far I am pleased with the construction quality and it was really easy to install. The lock and lid are especially well done. I like the cup holders and the small tray for little things. I think I will probably buy another one for the other side.

Storage boxes are very convenient; however tops do not fit squarely on the boxes making them less visually pleasing. Could use as an ice chest as advertised, but since they have no insulation, the ice will not last, esp in TX heat.

I must say that the screws holding the lid on are weak metal had to buy more when I needed to change the door hinges. Lid hinge holes do not match as well as they should. the lid grove is off leaving the lid raised on one end. the two compartments are nice size and roomy. It took longer to mount than I thought but I have it on and am using it. May have to alter the box fit to get a tonne. cover on. Thanks and God Bless.

Exact dimensions of storage space.
I would like to know what is the exact dimensions of the storage space. In other words, what is the measurement from the left inner edge to the right inner edge and from the front inner edge to the back inner edge. I need to know if my tool bag will fit in this space. Thanks

Hi, Unfortunately, we only have the external measurements available. The wall thickness looks to be about an inch on the sides.
