Poor quality at critical points

This the second swing case for this truck. My issue is that the point that bears weight is the upper hinge which is a small piece of metal measuring approx 1/4" wide 1/8 thick with a plastic bushing over it. Carrying only 18-20 lbs of tow straps proved too much for this and it snapped off making the box useless. This happened in 18 months and the product only has a 1 year warrantywarranty. So I ordered an exact replacement since I didn't want to put new holes in my truck. Poor design.

Looking for a box that don't take 2' of your bed

This is a great box of your looking for something to store hitchs, bungee cords, light connectors and other things, it swings out of the way and does not stick out into the bed any further than the wheel well does its remove able and and it also fits under a bed cover. It a perfect size for someone looking for a tool box but does not want to lose the front 2' of there bed.

Put this in my truck to store receiver hitches and straps. Installs nice looks good I thought it would be a little bit bigger than it is but that's my only complaint. I might just get one for the other side

This is going to be used for carrying cleaning products for traveling. The size is perfect to fit under the fifth wheel, and opens easily. During installation of the self-drilling/ tapping screws into the bed rail pocket, the first one snapped well before the screw was fully in. I replaced the screws for the bed rail pockets with 1/4 inch bolts with lock nuts and area washers (taking the taillight off gave access for the nuts.

great boxes

I wanted a convenient smallish tool box to keep items needed for towing my new fifth wheel travel trailer. I did not want something that would be loose in the bed but rather something out of the way when not needed. This toolbox is perfect. I like the ability to lock it in place and the lockable weather resistant cover is a nice feature. Though the box is made from plastic, it's a good heavy high quality construction. I am willing to pay a few dollars more for a USA made quality product.

Was told by auto anything that I could still use the factory hook in the bed, not really the case... The unit is small/tiny looks stupid in the bed of my F350 could be 2X the size. Not sure how durable it's gonna be? I have 4 or 5, 2" ratchet straps in mine with some small wedges 4-5 for hauling round items and the box is full... I do like the swing out feature, that is the nicest part...

Really helps clean up the little things in the back

First thing I noticed was how easy it was to install. I have a bed rug but it only slowed the install down by a few minutes. When you push it into the locking position you can feel and hear the quality. It locks with a thud and not with the sound of cheap plastic. Took all my loose items like bungee cords and my small socket set and held a lot of weight but it didn't care. Really is a nice addition to my truck and would be for yours.
