Chevy Colorado Mods & Upgrades

It looks great and was easy to install on my 2005 Colorado. Upon first inspecting it I found a few spots on it that looked like the beginnings of rust but I think it was just stains. That's my only complaint. It looks REALLY sharp and adds a great look to the truck. If you have a full size truck it might look too small but it's perfect for small to mid-size trucks in my opinion.

Nice looking top which installed easily (instructions were very poor but the idea was obvious). Two problems: first, the drain lines supplied were very much too big for the drain holes in the Colorado bed - needed to change tube size, and second, the rubber strips along the sides of the top have bumps at the folds which do not go away (even after days in the sun) and allows small leaks into the bed.

The caps arrived very fast. The tracking info sent by Auto Anything is very convenient and thoughtful. It's nice to see a company take care of the customer. The caps fit like a glove and match the OEM supplied bed liner. This is the second item I have bought from auto anything and I don't see a reason to go anywhere else for my purchases.

I purchased the stage II performance module for my '04 Colorado, with a current odometer reading at 70,000. I have just the K&N stock replacement air filter, Magnaflow exhaust muffler, and running on 91 octane. I noticed an immediate increase in HP, mainly acceleration. I did not notice a big difference in MPG, though I believe there was an increase. I achieved 24.2 MPG highway running 75MPH constant. Was hoping for better mileage increase, but am satisfied with the extra boost in power!

I thought it would take at least an hour to install and that was with help. After I threw the directions away and twenty minutes later I was looking at my Nerf bars on my shinny Dodge Dakota. Great product and well engineered.
