Easy to put on once untangled--that's the hardest part! Since we have had them only a short time, not sure about overall quality or performance in snow.

Had R-3 conditions at 8000ft and these chains took me down and back up the mountain without any problem! They are fairly simple to install once you've practiced. The directions included suck. I'm happy with their performance and curious how many trips they'll run.
When the weather outside is frightful, installing snow chains is not delightful. Of course, the only time you need the friggin chains is during inhospitable conditions. The best way to get yourself back in the car pronto is to know how to handle your Thule tire chains before you’re caught in a storm. So, is the weather nice where you are? Are you inside? Good. Now’s the perfect time to learn!
