I use this on my 2003 Tahoe and it works great. The only issue I have with it is that the power cord is somewhat short if you have a full size SUV. I have to stretch it throughout the inside to just get it to reach the back passenger tire.

A very good compressor for the price. I use it to air up my tires when off roading. The cable to hook up to battery could stand to be longer.

Very good unit. Performs great. Nice quality, accessories, etc. 1 thing that is annoying, when filling rear tires, compressor is by front and gauge at tires, requiring you to go back and forth constantly starting and stopping to check pressure while filling. One other thing, it is difficult to clip on tire stem, needs a bend in the fitting. Fix those two things and you have a perfect machine.

My wife and I enjoy traveling around the country with our travel trailer. If anyone has tried to get close enough to the air filling stations at most gas stations, then you realize what an impossible task this is. Since we now have the VIAIR 300P that is no longer a problem We have air anyplace we need it - in the campground, at a rest stop or anywhere. It is fast, compact, it comes with a carrying case and is very quiet. This is a "must have" for anyone who needs portable air. Five stars for this product.

The pump and accessories are well made. The flexible hose has an insulated quick release connector and a high quality valve stem chuck. There is an inline deflator that works well but probably isn't worth the effort to use to release air. The instructions recommend running the engine when using the pump, both to keep from running down the battery and to keep the voltage up. With the engine running, it took about 2 minutes to go from 20 psi to about 37 psi for 265/75-16 tires. The gauge is reasonable accurate though the scale is compressed. I'll still use a separate gauge to set the pressure. I did remove the metal tray or base. With the base removed, the pump fits in the in the rear storage tray of my 09 Xterra secure and also accessible. I wrapped it in a piece of thin neoprene sheet both for some protection and for a mat to set the pump on when in use. Without the base, the pump sits on either side of the engine compartment with the hose easily stretching to the tires.
