85P Ford Ranger Tire

Reviewed by Matthew B (Anoka, MN) Reviewed for a 1997 Ford Ranger — Mar 11, 2014 5:27 PM

I've used this to fill my slow leak every couple of days until I get the leak fixed and, so far, it's been great. It plugs into the 12v source in the cab and is able to reach all of the tires if need be. I think it would be able to fill a total flat, but would be pushing it pretty hard.

Does exactly as advertised. Great compressor, fills tires very quickly compared to cheaper models. Super quite and good cord length.

Works great

Reviewed by Steven B (North Brunswick, NJ) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford F-150 — Feb 19, 2014 2:59 PM

The VIAIR 85P worked great for me, I have a f150 and it topped off all my tires recently after the very cold weather in the northeast. It was fast and convenient, no more trying to find a gas station that has a working air station. Very good buy

Great Value for the Money

Reviewed by Panagiotis I (VERO BEACH, FL) — Jan 31, 2014 7:31 PM

Viar makes the best portable air compressors. I use it on my car tires every one to two weeks. Each tire looses about 2-3 psi and it takes 15 - 20 seconds for each tire to get the recommended psi.

Great little compressor!

Reviewed by Keith E (URBANA, IL) — Jan 14, 2014 8:30 AM

I use it for both our truck tires and car tires. Plugs right into the 12V outlet so you can take it with you and top off the tires wherever you are. I read a few reviews that said it blew fuses but have had no problems with that whatsoever. The gauge seems to read about 4 lbs high but I know it so adjust for it. I think the company can help with calibration if I call. Buy it!!!

Excellent tire inflator

Reviewed by Donald C (Atlanta, GA) Reviewed for a 2007 Lincoln Town Car — Dec 08, 2013 3:59 AM

The 85P is a small, and lightweight yet powerful compressor. I normally use it for topping off the tire pressure on my car. It completes the job very quickly and is very quiet. The valve connector is a screw on connection which provides a good fit without losing any air, and once connected provides a fairly accurate pressure reading.

Good quality and quite

Going to gas station for air inflation of tires is a pain: station machine does not work and no time of going out. With this little device on hand, I can timely inflate tires which resulted in safer and cost-effective trips.

Handy man

Reviewed by sourasith s (MANSFIELD, TX) Reviewed for a 2010 Mazda 6 — Nov 01, 2013 6:29 PM

For the size of the compressor and performance, it is a thumb up; if a battery pack attach, it would be a 2 thumb up.
