Well made, highly recommended item. Get hot but it is "normal" (manual owners explained). When in use, the compressor doesn't stay in a place due to the vibration when the pump is working. I can live with it. Is not so slow to put the air in a truck tire. 20 psi in about few minutes (less than 5)

This is the most powerful 12 volt compressor I have used. It met my high expectations, I'm satisfied having opted for it over less expensive models. It is quiet, powerful and low vibration for this type of compressor. The brass chuck fits tightly and is surely durable. The LED ensures your connection and the PSI gauge was dead on according to my own pressure gauge. The only improvement I could suggest would be a longer cord but this is adequate and aides the compact design.

I've used this to fill my slow leak every couple of days until I get the leak fixed and, so far, it's been great. It plugs into the 12v source in the cab and is able to reach all of the tires if need be. I think it would be able to fill a total flat, but would be pushing it pretty hard.

The VIAIR 85P worked great for me, I have a f150 and it topped off all my tires recently after the very cold weather in the northeast. It was fast and convenient, no more trying to find a gas station that has a working air station. Very good buy

I use it for both our truck tires and car tires. Plugs right into the 12V outlet so you can take it with you and top off the tires wherever you are. I read a few reviews that said it blew fuses but have had no problems with that whatsoever. The gauge seems to read about 4 lbs high but I know it so adjust for it. I think the company can help with calibration if I call. Buy it!!!

The 85P is a small, and lightweight yet powerful compressor. I normally use it for topping off the tire pressure on my car. It completes the job very quickly and is very quiet. The valve connector is a screw on connection which provides a good fit without losing any air, and once connected provides a fairly accurate pressure reading.

Going to gas station for air inflation of tires is a pain: station machine does not work and no time of going out. With this little device on hand, I can timely inflate tires which resulted in safer and cost-effective trips.
