VIAIR 70P Portable Air Compressor Reviews

Stout

Bought this unit to fill the 5000 lb air bags I just installed on my truck. The air bags are rated to a max of 100 psi which this does effortlessly. It is all metal construction, quiet and well made. Should last a lifetime. Don't waste your money on a on board air compressor for your air bags...this does it perfectly plus it has additional uses on or around the vehicle. Handy carry bag and very long 12 volt cord. Solid purchase and price AA.

VIAIR 90P air compressor

Reviewed By Michael M (ALBUQUERQUE, NM) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-150 —10/18/2016 6:15 AM

The cord is too short for my F150 super cab pickup truck, I need to use my jumper cables for extension. The pressure gauge is inaccurate forcing the use of a separate pressure gauge. I've only used this pump 4 times and I hope it lasts. The quality seems good but time/use will tell. Works great to quickly fill my air bags.

Very pleased

This works very good. I have 265/75 r16 all terain tires and the max psi is 44 and within a minute it pumped it up from 30 to 52 and I realized its too high. This pumps fast. The gauge is 6 or 8 pounds too high if I remember correctly. So just subtract 6 or 8 or have a tire pressure gauge handy. It's not loud at all and doesn't shake very much. If you have to extend a long distance (about to the back of a truck) have someone hold the compressor or figure a way to hold it down due to coil hose
