- To ensure that you choose a winch with enough power for your truck or SUV, use this easy formula: gross vehicle weight x 1.5 = minimum winch size.
- Must be used with a class 3 rear receiver hitch with 5,000 lbs. minimum weight carrying (WC) rating. The receiver must not be recessed more than 1¼ " from the bumper face.

I purchased a Ramsey winch last year and love it. I just purchased a second one and it came defective. I had to pay a repair garage $50.00 to fix it. I could have sent it back but didn't want to wait forever to have it fixed/replaced. I am very disappointed with the condition it came in. AutoAnything should be responsible for reimbursing me.
