The curt winch hitch mount is awesome! Mounted a 12 thousand pound warn on it , works like a charm. Pulls my buddies lifted Chevy silverado on 37s right out of a mud hole, didn't bend , tweak, nothin to the curt winch hitch mount! Would definitely recommend!

Works as advertised. Mounted an old REP8000(bought in '99) and it fit like a glove, can be used either in my front or my rear receiver. Probably will never need or use it, for my truck anyway, but have pulled a few heavier and larger trucks out of the mud and may need it for that in the future. 3 miles of mud out to the highway every monsoon season here in SE AZ.

This is the product to buy if you are mounting your winch on the front of your truck. Extra long tongue allows it to clear front bumper. Mounting winch is simple with this installed on vehicle first. If using a large or heavy winch, I would recomend getting the version with handles, if you will need to be removing it often.

When I saw the winch plate I was a little on sure for the price. I didn't want to buy a cheap harbor freight special but didn't want 300 something dollars winch mfg receiver winch plates. with a little shopping around i found the the curtis receiver. to mount in the front or rear bumper receiver on my jeep. I found the plate is soild and my superwinch LP 8500 bolted right on and for the prices you can't go wrong

really can't use this product as yet, turns out that it doesn't fit a four wheeler style winch. which that i have is a warn winch 1500 for a four runner. it was going to be used on a utility trailer. but now back to zero and also keeping winch mount for maybe a step mount or refigure the mounting hole of the winch. they are around square plate of 4x4ins. so this slow brain and some odd ideas may come about with something. another job in the making, if the back side gets moving for the brain to function. john e f.
