CURT Winch Mount Reviews

All that I need at a great price

Reviewed By Peter H (Poway, CA) Reviewed for a 1999 Ford F-250 —6/21/2013 9:35 AM

I found many other options, including one from Warn that was 4 times the price, this one does all that I needed and is a great value. Winch mounts are standardized and my winch attached easily.

Mile Marker winch mount - Ford Expedition

Reviewed By Ron Z (Great Falls, MT) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Expedition —3/5/2012 8:26 AM

This mount is heavy heavy duty, it weighs over 100 lbs. Installs pretty easy, fishing the supplementary brackets through the lower valence grill though takes time and patience. There could be just a bit more space for the remounting of the factory tow hooks, may have to relocate them to the sides of the winch mount. I do need to add the light bars or make some myself. I think the $200+ they want for the light guards is a bit pricey for them.

Warn Multi-Mount Winch Frame Reviews

Warn Multi-Mount Winch Frame - FANTASTIC!

Reviewed By Paul H (Valley, WA) Reviewed for a 2001 Ford F550 —11/20/2007 9:15 PM

It was very easy to install my new Warn M8000 Winch to the Warn Multi-Mount Winch Frame. The Warn Winch Frame is well designed and manufactured. All the mounting holes are predrilled, and fit my M8000 winch exactly. I have a front receiver hitch and rear receiver hitch installed on my Ford F-550. I use a double receiver adapter on the rear, which allows me to hook up my trailer, then hook my winch on the top receiver hitch (the adapter has one straight through receiver hitch, and the second is several inches above. I use this setup to winch cars/trucks onto the trailer. The warn winch and winch multi mount work great. Paul NE Washington
