art of the problem with an SUV is the large amount of glass surface area. My Nissan Pathfinder does have darkened glass in the rear passanger and rear window. One of the big areas of interior heat generation from sunlight is the angled front windshield. This sun shade does help reduce the heat ordinarily generated by that surface. The vehicle is still very warm inside when left out in the summer sun. However, it is not the oppressive oven it was before usimg the sun shade. I would still recommend it and it does fit better than all the others available. Installation is a snap and taking it down is just as easy. Summary: Very good product.
