Excellent idea that is almost perfect. Areas that need improving: 1. Improve the fit. This varies per application of course. Mine isn't perfect but still very good. (Too tall and not wide enough) 2. Change the width of the panels if the application calls for it. In my case (06-09 VW GTI), the last panels (each end) are 2" slivers and are hard to wrangle into place and even harder to keep folded up. A full sized end would not cause this problem. This is easily achieved by making the panels wider so the shade ends on a full panel, not a partial untamed flap. 3. The smell. My new car smell is replaced with the strange odor of the Sun Shade. Not terrible, but I prefer new car. ;) I'm sure it will dissipate soon enough. Otherwise these are the best shades you can get. Still highly recommened. I've tried them all, this is the one you want. They are expensive, but worth it. The A/C cools the car down much faster if the dashboard isn't 140 degrees.
