Do you think that Jackie Chan cut some sort of deal with Mitsubishi so he would feature their vehicles big time in his movies? Kicking off with the Starion he piloted in "Cannonball Run II," every Jackie Chan flick seems to use Mitsubishi vehicles. They're great cars, although the Starion he drove in "Cannonball Run II" probably wasn't much good after it ended up at the bottom of a lake. Had they shot it in the winter the lake might have been frozen. And, unless you're equipped with the right Mitsubishi Starion winter driving accessories, you probably freeze in the winter too.
