Easy to put on once untangled--that's the hardest part! Since we have had them only a short time, not sure about overall quality or performance in snow.

It installs easily and I was pleased with how snug it fits. We have not had a snow yet so I can not tell how easily it will come off with snow and ice on it . I do wish there could be one made for the back window .

I can put them on by myself, but you need to practice a couple times first. We have not had any snow yet--I will also practice once in snowy conditions. I felt they were worth the extra money (about $100.) as I could put them on by myself in an emergency, but I really do not plan to be driving around in R3 conditions (4WD + chains).
