I have a Dodge Ram 3500 with a Cummins diesel. It can take several miles of driving before the defroster starts to work effectively. Though the outside temperatures haven't dropped below freezing yet, the AlphaTherm has made a big improvement when it comes to defogging the windshield in the morning. After just 3 or 4 cycles of spraying while I drive out of the neighborhood, the fogging stops, just in time for me to get on the main road. Installation was a snap. I bolted it to the side of the holder for the passenger side battery. The tubing for the truck's washer fluid runs right next to it with a factory splice just before it goes up to the nozzles. I was able to pull the splice apart and run the tubing to the unit adding only a few inches from the several feet of tubing provided with the unit. Hooking up to the battery was easy since it's right there. I used the tie wraps to coil up the excess wiring and mount the fuse holder to the firewall. Easy to install and it works great, I'm thinking on getting one for the wife and her mini-van.
