I bought the AEM to compliment the Flowmaster exhaust on my '99 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9l, and that it does. You can feel the extra torque on the low end and you can really hear the difference from about 2500rpm to redline. Extremely easy to install with only a basic knowledge of automotive tech necessary. Looks damn good with the chrome tube too. Need about 3ft. extra of breather hose if you have the tube on the driver's side though. Overall an excellent buy.

I love my new air intake. I've had other brands on other vehicles but they don't compair to this new AEM. It was very easy to install, no cutting anything love it. I drive a 2002 Dodge 3/4 ton lifted running 33's and the intake really helps to get me rolling. The thing I like about it the most is that u can hear and feel the difference. Thanks a lot AEM keep up the good work

I recieved the intake without incident. I really like the finish and overall quality. The only thing keeping it from an excellent rating is the fact that the main intake tube doesn't interface with the throttle body intake very well. AEM relies on the silicone sleeve to seal things up. This works pretty well, but it could have interfaced a little better without much of an increase in manufacturing cost. As for performance, I really notice the difference at highway speeds and when accelerating hard. The truck seems to require less throttle to keep speed. And when taking off...wow. Get the engine above 3000 RPM and it really roars (flowmaster duals already on truck). Throttle response seems a little snappier as well. Overall, very satisfied.
