Used a discount code and only then the price was somewhat reasonable. Instructions, install and quality are very good. A note of interest, the included 5/16 diameter hose would not fit. Correct hose size is 1/4". Had to run to the parts store to complete the install. Only $1.70 spent, but still. Would have been dead in the water without it. Beware. Paired it up with a Magnaflow cat-back and the truck howls. Sound and performance above average. No real increase in MPG's.

Installed it in a parking lot while doing laundry at a laundromat. Looks great, SOUNDS great, noticeable improvement in acceleration and throttle response. Can't tell on mpg improvements yet, but hoping for some.

Warning: The 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4x2 V6 Crew Cab already has the intake in a pretty sweet spot. It looks like it gets cooler air from the front bumper. That being said, this intake by AEM looks better and sounds better. Gas mileage didn't increase by a whopping amount for this truck given the stock intake is in a good spot. So before you buy, see if it is an improvement on your intakes design better filter for sure (dry and more durable) but the point of these things is to grab cooler denser air.

After installing this intake, I noticed the immediate difference in power and sound. Feels more responsive than before, giving my engine a less whiny sound and a deep tone (when pushing for speed). Again like people have said, they haven't noticed much change in MPG because they have been pushing the gas harder -same case with me. Installation took under an hr and with the detailed instructions, it was quite easy. As far as why I chose this over the K&N? 1. Price 2. With the AEM you don't have to reoil the filter when cleaning it. Overall it's an awesome improvement for an great price.

Everyone should know that a cold air intake (CAI) on a modern EFI engine is going to see little to no gains in anything except looks. In combination with a free flowing exhaust and a tune you can see modest gains with CAIs. That being said I think it is a bit pricey for what it is but it looks absolutely fantastic. It really cleans up the engine bay. The install only took MAYBE 45min and I was interupted twice. Great looking system expecially with a dry filter so no risk of over oiling.

After researching for what seemed like forever I finally pulled the trigger and bought this intake. I'm so glad I did the quality is top notch and the fit is perfect. Sounds great when I step on it! Also the shipping was quick got it in 2 days!

Instructions were great, the installation was a snap, & the appearance is sharp. Performance seems to have improved slightly, but that may be wishful thinking. I'm in the middle of a 1500 mile road trip & find any change in gas mileage to be very minimal.

Great product. It looks great, sounds great, and performs great. Although the performance gains were only minor, you can still feel them. Moreover, the sound is terific!

very easy to install. great quality, as expected from AEM. slight throttle response and throaty sound during acceleration. filter cone seemed a little on the cheap side. was not the same cone as for my integra. my engine light is now on, which i will assume is from my O-2 sensor or mass flow sensor getting a non-OEM amount of air/exhaust. gas mileage has not increased, but decreased slightly. i will assume that is also due to false readings from my sensors. this will be investigated further. all-in-all, a great by and product, but you may experience some gremlins because of the "dumb" sensors now in newer vehicles.

Noticed a little increase in Horse Power on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6 It Sounds like a Big block 454 with 4 barrel carb when I mash the gas. Too loud for my taste. No increase in gas mileage either.
