YOU CANT BEAT AN AIR FILTER THAT DOES ITS JOB-KEEPING CONTAMINANTS FROM ENTERING INTO YOUR ENGINE'S BREATHING SYSTEM. YOU WILL DEFINITELY SEE BETTER ACCELERATION AND SOME FUEL MILEAGE IMPROVEMENT AS WELL. THESE FILTERS LAST A LONG TIME WITH PROPER CARE USING THE K&N CLEANING KIT AND DOING EXACTLY AS INSTRUCTED.

This is my third vehicle with a K&N filter. My Silverado 1500 has a cold box, that helped fuel consumption by 2 or 3 mpg. In my Vette I just installed filter only. Too soon to check mpg, but throttle response does seems better. It's a stock LT1 with 300 hp, that gets 24 mpg at highway speeds. 2 or 3 mpg would be welcome. I belive in K&N products,I will purchase again.

I've had the filter in my 94 Corvette for a couple of weeks and have noticed no difference in mileage or performance over my normal air filter (which was still very clean)....except that it cost a LOT more. I guess that the cost will be effective over the life of the filter.

I think I notice a difference in the performance of my Corvette after installing this K&N. The filter comes pre-oiled and was not messy. I think I am getting a bit more HP because of it. You will save money over the long haul by spending a little extra for this filter.
