I am a firm believer in K&N products. I have been told that this filter actually cuts air flow and its a BS. I have never had a problem with this filter and I had my other one for 180,000 miles on my celica. I had to buy a new one due to front end damage destroying my other. I reoil with regenerating kit every oil change and my car runs great.

I've used a K&N typhoon system before and thought it was an excellent filter although the vehicle I used it on didn't really do it justice (An '02 Celica GTS). I now have another GTS that I have purchased a simple replacement filter for and am very happy with it. Have also used the filter for an '06 Kia Sedona minivan simply for the convenience of not having to constantly change it; just a simple cleaning and re-oil whenever it gets too dirty and it's back to new.

I must say when I first ordered this filter I was in doubt... I had to wait a bit extra time for the delivery because I ordered this filter to my Dads address in FL and he had to post it to me, to Ireland (shipping cost my Dad 18.40USD for the air filter and oil filter together, I was quoted 70USD for just air filter to Ireland with AutoAnything). All the same I must admit that AutoAnything delivered the K&N air filter and oil filter pretty quick. Now going back to filter, after installing the two of them immediately the difference was noticed smoother acceleration seemed to have a bit more power. Bottom line this filter would be highly recommended to anyone and if you add a K&N oil filter as well there is no stopping you... Buy from AutoAnything if you want fast and free shipping within the US.
