Chose K&N based on short and long term cost savings vs traditional "throw-away" filters; immediately felt difference in performance in terms of the sensation that engine was "breathing" freer and lower RPM torque; have not had the chance to measure the impact on MPG valuation as yet, but everything else being equal, still a sensible purchase

AutoAnything shipped the K&N Air Filter very quickly. I installed the filter and two weeks later, I realized my gas mileage has been noticeably better than before. I commute to work daily and it usually takes about 4 days to empty a full tank. Now it takes about 5-6 days. A great investment if you can overlook the initial price, which is 3-4 times a generic filter's price.

Although I can't tell if more air is passing through the filter, I bought it because I knew I would never have to buy another airfilter again. Although, I had a K&N airfilter on my previous car and more air did flow through which resulted in a little more oomph. But now, I notice there is a bit more oomph in 3rd gear around 5000rpm in my current car.

I bought a K&N Air Filter for my Honda Prelude and it's made a pretty noticeable difference. I'm getting roughly 2 or 3 more miles to the gallon and I can definitely tell the car is "breathing" better. In fact, the first thing I noticed when I cranked it up with the new filter was that it was getting more air and idling/running a little smoother. It was definitely worth the money and I'll never have to replace it, just clean it.
