I am absolutly happy with my filters they have made a world of difference and it has already paid for itself in 5 trips to the gas station. I would definitly recommend this to anyone with any car becasue now a days 3 miles to the gallon better is worth 40 to 70 bucks for a filter you don't have to replace.

I love this air filter. I got the drop in filter, not the Ram Air. Easy 3 minute installation and instant results. Doesn't need to be tuned, but I got tuned afterwards anyway. HP and torque is up and I now get 5-8 more miles per gallon of gas. I've only had it on for 2 weeks, but so far so good. I am even running my Greddy Type RS blow off valve VTA with no idle issues after filter install.

I bought this after having replaced the OEM filter on my new car with another brand. That other brand litterly did not suck, no air flow what so ever. I lost about 2mpg average and a lot of power to boot. Replaced that with the K&N and the power was back, and my gas milage was better then even with the OEM.

I installed the filter then went for a drive. Seemed to have a smoother response. I noticed the computer had to recalibrate the input of more air. The rpms at idle were up until recompensation occured. It was easy to install but for some holders at the base of the air intake. They were difficult to remove and broke off. I had to fashion two holders with a rubber washer.

I don't normally do this but I put a K&N filter in my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage and noticed a great difference. Idle is smoother and gas milage improved. One thing that crept up on me is the performance. Be careful wht you wish for and have your brakes looked at.
