You get all around better performance , and you wash it out and put it back in. Very simple !! I own a taxi company in Myrtle Beach SC. I have them in all my vans. My oldest van has 360,000 miles and runs like new. Part is do the the K and N air filter. Nothing trappes dirt like it, dirt is the enemy of your engine . It's a wise investment . Wade

I have had this air filter for about 1 month. I have run 3 tanks of gas through it. I can definitely feel the power difference AND I have gained 3 mpg. This is a great product I only wish I had purchased it when I purchased the van. Btw this van is 10 years old and has over 200000 miles on it.

Our elevation is 6,200 above sea level so the air is thin. Most people here put K&N filters on to get more oxygen into the engine. So if you live in a high altitude area put one on for performance and fuel economy.
