Easy to install. I do not know yet how good they really are since I only have driven around 50 miles since I installed it. The proof will be with time to see if the engine performs any better and gets improved gas mileage.

I just installed this filter & have not noticed any performance differences.I used one of these before for about 6 years in this car. After this installation, I researched & found that there are questions about how well these units actually filter. Even K&N seems a bit murky about filtering efficiency. In one good experiment/analysis, the K&N clearly let through more dirt than a Mazda factory air filter and one premium racing filter, but less than 3 others,so I'm not so sure now a K&N is for me.

THE K & N AIR FILTER IS MORE THEN I EXPECTED. AFTER THE COMPUTER ADJUSTED TO THE NEW FILTER MY MILAGE HAS GONE FROM 22MPG TO BETWEEN 27 AND 30. AMAZING RESULTS. I HAD USED THE FILTER BEFORE BUT NOT WITH SUCH RESULTS. MY NEW RIDE IS A 2008 CADILLAC DTS WITH ONLY 17,731 MILES AND IS RUNNING GREAT.

I put a K&N air filter in my 2008 Buick Lucerne, and I also had one in my old car, a 2001 LeSabre, which had over 230,000 miles on it. The stock filter in the Lucerne isn't paper, it's fiberglass. It's not very fine and not cleanable, either. The K&N filter is far superior in both filtration and airflow. The car seems slightly quicker and more responsive and the engine is getting cleaner air, which should help it last longer.
