As soon as I installed this K&N into my GTO, I immediately noticed the performance increase. On my next outing, the on-board computer showed a 1 MPG increase in economy.

These air filters stay cleaner longer and instead of buying a new one you can clean the same one and make it like new. Takes just a few minutes

This is a great air filter but it does not come with the cleaning kit, make sure you get that extra! I also saw a 1 or 2 mpg increase.

I've run K&N filters for years, and this one is no different. They always fit perfectly, and you'll most likely never have to buy another air filter. My GTO and Z71 breathe much better now.

I think I picked-up a couple of HP and I know I picked-up about 2 mpg via my dash board gauge.I paid 47 dollars for it ,but it should be 40 dollars. But for a panel drop-in reusable filter, it is still a good price and of high quality. Mike

The thing I noticed most after installing the K@N filter is the quicker throttle response. My MPH did go up almost two. That in itself will pay for the filter.

I recently put some JBA cermic/stainless headers on my 2005 GTO. The addition of the K & N filter only enhanced the performance of the car. It responds quicker and rolls through the rpm's like it is running in NASCAR. The only difference being I have to turn right occasionaly. The car feels like it gets a fresh breath with every stroke. I also like the fact that I can clean it and reuse it. I don't know how long it will take to recover the cost but I will let you know. Until then, Thanks.
