Just installed a K&N air filter for my 2006 Land Rover LR3. Installation was a snap. The air filter has now been in my car for around 600 miles now, and I can tell you that my MPG has improved by at least 1 MPG around town, and the engine seems more 'eager'. If this continues, the air filter will soon have paid for itself!

When you remove the old filter you will see the quality difference between this product and what you have now. The fit is perfect. I can't say for sure I see a big difference in horsepower or feel efficiency but the filter is something that needed to be replaced and I feel the K&N product is a much greater value that the dealer installed option.

Yes, they are ore expensive than the paper replaceable ones. But, they will last so much longer. I have two Land Rovers and immediately notice the different in pick up; I'm anxious to see how they affect my mileage.

K & N has never disappointed me. Every car that I have purchased always gets a K&N filter. I buy it, install it, and don't need to buy a replacement. And that's it, I'm good to go.

I really can feel and hear the difference in the performance of my 2006 Land Rover LR3 HSE. I have installed K&Ns on other vehicles and have become a loyal fan. Go K&N!

I replaced the stock air filter in my 2006 Land Rover LR3 (4.0L V6 with 26000 miles) with the K&N stock replacement. Installation took less than 5 minutes. The change produced a noticeable improvement in throttle response and gas mileage improved from 11.8mpg to 13.5mpg. It had to be the air filter, as nothing else on the vehicle was changed.
