I've always use K&N filters in my previous cars I usually get the whole kit but for this car the Kia Rio 5 they do not make the kit for it so I just bought the filter in my opinion is very good quality will last a very long time and you can clean it and reuse it which are definite bonuses the performance there's nothing great about that it's this very slight increase in power nothing noticeable too much but still a great product in that you can use it for a long time and not have to replace it.

I've had the K&N filter for a month and have started to notice an increase in my gas mileage. I travel 100 miles a day round trip for work and getting an extra 3 miles a gallon on a car that already gets good mileage. Great value too.

I was surprised that there was an increase in power and in the smoothness of the engine at low revs. Combined with a low restriction, but not loud, muffler/tailpipe combo, it feels like I have gained 8-10 horsepower. I do not notice any improvement in mileage. The real notable difference is how smoothly it pulls in low revs, making downshifting (5 speed) optional at times.

The air filter is great, my 2008 Kia Rio now has more power on the take off. It feels like it wants to keep going. The engine runs a lot smoother. I get about 3 or 4 miles more per gallon of gas. With today's prices that helps. I would recomend using the K&N air filter an any vehicle. Steve
