I've purchased many air filters from K&N for every single cars in the family. I appreciate how long lasting they are and how little maintenance they require. My latest purchase is for my Nissan Versa and even though the MPG did not improve much (only extra 1 MPG was noted), the car certainly seems to be perky and pass cars on the freeway a bit easier. The fitment was a little more snug in the airbox than the original filter but that's because the K&N filter has a slightly thicker lip.

Got a little boost in fuel economy but its hard to say if I got any power from it. Its a 1.8L engine, I didn't expect much. Some one pointed out the math for me in 100k miles I would save 220 bucks in fuel at 4 bucks a gallon..but its easy to clean and reuse.

After installing the K&N filter, my wife and I have notice a change in gas mileage, the engine runs smoother has more acceleration. I would diffently advise to order this filter for nissan versas and nissan cubes. At first I was skeptable at first of buying this filter because of the storys of the oil getting on the air sensors and throttle body. The price was cheeper at auto anything then at local and internet auto parts stores and sites.

When I put the K&N filter into the air box, the cover went on a little tighter than I liked...but was able to snap the cover on. I haven't had the filter long enough to see any change in gas mileage....still doing some testing....will let you know. I think I gained a little more power. My main concern is mileage.

Costly initially, but worth it in the long run. As for install it was very easy, it is just an air filter after all. Power increase was nominal, although it was placed on a 2008 Versa so there is not alot of power there in the first place. A good low cost substitute for a Cold Air Intake.

I recently replaced my factory air filter with this K&N air filter, because I figured it couldn't hurt to try and squeez a little more horsepower out of my car. I could immediately tell the difference going up hills, and accellerating quickly on freeways. No more lag when I hit the gas.
