Reasonably priced with a 20% off code the air filter arrived quickly thanks to AutoAnything. Can't say I noticed a performance difference but I'm really hoping the reduced restriction might help my gas mileage slightly. Haven't had it in long enough to know. The filter fit perfectly and appears to be doing its job.

I installed the K&N replacement filter in my wife's car without telling her to see if there were any noticeable improvements. After 4 weeks I told her I replaced the air filter and did she notice any changes. She told me there were no noticable change in performance (I drove the car and agree with her), but after 4 tankfulls of gas there was a slight improvement in gas mileage(.5 MPG). Well, at least we won't be putting any more paper filters in the landfill. My other vehicles (2 trucks) have the K&N cold air intake kits and you do notice a performance improvement. So if you want noticeable performance improvements I would recommend installing one of the intake kits not just a filter replacement.

I purchased my Infiniti M35 in 2006, but K&N did not make replacement air filters for it at that time. This year, K&N finally brought the filter to market. All my other vehicles use only K&N air filters. I immediately picked up 2.2 miles per gallon as noted by the vehicle's online computer. It won't take many tank fulls of gas before the savings pays for the addition of the filter. Plus, K&N filters are sustainable and keep paper filters out of landfills.
