I was excited to order my filter and replace it with my old one. In doing so I found that the filter for my BMW 5 Series was not an exact fit even with ordering the correct filter. Overall I'm disappointed that it was a waste of my order and have no choice but to return it. I'm not sure if I would order this particular product again.

Install took all of 10 minutes, placed the sticker on the air box and drove away. Working well in city traffic, better throttle response and cooler running engine.

Over all I am satisfied with my K & N filter. I have replaced my stock filter with the K & N on every performance vehicle I have ever owned. Not sure if it has done a whole lot in the performance department, since I am not conducting any 1/4 mile speed runs, but when I get into the throttle I can now here my turbo spooling up. If I am getting more air flow I can't see it being nothing but an improvement with the turbo.

These filters are a great value and only took 5 minutes to install. If you are going to keep your car or put on a lot of miles these make a lot o sense. Probably my 10th K&N. Will buy again.

After getting on for a 3 series I also own I was surprised by just how easy the one for my 5 was to install. I wasn't under the hood 5 minutes to complete the job. While I haven't had this filter in but for a few days, I'm expecting similar results to all of the others I've installed in my cars. Typically 5-10% better fuel economy so it doesn't take all that long to recover the initial cost.
