Put this on my Roushcharged '09 Mustang Bullitt at 470hp, and it gave it even a bit more pop off the line. Easy install. Nothing but the best.

I only use K&N in all my vehicles ... with all the Arizona dust they perform excellently. I clean them a bit more than required, but I want to protect my engines.

K&N drop in filter

Came fast and installed easily. My only gripe is that AutoAnything doesn't include packing materials with the filter so it has the chance of getting banged up and the metal mesh could get damaged.

I Have a 2006 Mustang with a Ford Racing CAI. This is the CAI that comes installed on 2008 Mustang Bullitt's from the factory. The conical air filter Ford Racing supplies, (and it is the same for the Bullitt's)is very restrictive. I didn't know how restrictive until I held them up side by side to the sunlight. Absolutely no light passes through the Ford Racing filter. Very Restrictive. I installed the K&N and immediatley felt a difference in sound & acceleration. An excellent purchase.

I'm not sure why the manufacturer (Ford) didn't include a re-usable filter on the car from the factory, but nevertheless K&N replacement filters are always a good investment. They pay for themselves after the first year when you won't have to buy a new filter (clean and re-oil it after 50k miles with K&N's re-charge kit). If you're looking for more power I wouldn't bother with their full "cold-air" intake kits, unless you're buying one that requires a computer re-tune. They'll do absolutely nothing otherwise.

This vehicle comes with a cold air package. Replaced Ford's factory air filter with a K@N - There is literally no comparison in quality and construction of the K@N vs. the Ford filter. I own 3 vehicles and 3 motorcycles - they all run with a K@N! The The bullitt is my wifes play vehicle - she said she readily notices that the engine pulls better and tachs more quickly - I agree! The vehicle is also fitted with a BBK throttle body and a BBK underdrive pulley set.
