I love this K&N High Performance Air Filer for my 2016 Chevrolet Impala LTZ. I noticed the sound right off the bat, could hear it pulling in the cold air into the engine when accelerating. It's going to sound even better once I upgrade my exhaust also.

Filter arrived quickly and was a direct fit for the factory filter. Slight concern that I may have to clean MAF sensor soon as the filter appeared to be over oiled. There was standing oil in the bag and the filter was dripping. I dried the filter with some paper towels before installing. So far so good.

Having bought K&N products in the past, I bought one for my Impala. Very satisfied so far. I can notice a difference in acceleration, not sure about mileage yet.

Bought a lesser priced intake and filter.... Two filters fell apart after about a year with no warranty. K&N guarantees for 100k miles. worth the extra cost to not have to buy again. Seems to work the same as the other.

I have an app that keeps track of my mileage. I know the car is new but before the K&N I got between 26 and 27mpg for my 2015 Impala V6. I am now averaging over 28mpg (for the last 1000 miles).

This filer is high quality and fits perfectly. I think it fit tighter and cleaner than stock. However, make sure you keep the filter in the in clear sealed packaging until the very last second. The filer is coated in a gooey oil (presumably the very stuff that makes this the best filter). A million mile warranty maybe, but I don't see the point in refilling the oil. I will just toss it at at 30K miles and get a new one.
