I had a K&N filter but I don't like the color (dark, looks not very clean). I replaced it with a green filter. I can hear the air flow hissing sound while driving. For me it's not a noise. Instead it sounds very smooth. I still have not got the chance to figure out if it improves horse power and/or gas mileage though.

The filter fits just right. It sealed in the air filter box just right. Easy to put the top of the air filter box on and tightened. Green looks pretty neat. Not as must black plastic over-lap on the actual filter element as K&N. Lower priced than K&N. Nice to know that I won't have to buy another air filter(the main reason I purchased it and wanted to try something different from K&N). Don't know about performance gains, it's not a race car. Green Filters want send me one for my 2011 CTS4?

seems to be a very good quality product I have noticed my truck doesn't seem to be struggling to breath and has a little more pep haven't noticed any better fuel mileage but that's probably my own fault I have a bit of a heavy foot all in all good filter bought one for the car too.

So far on my 2010 chevy Silverado with V-6 vortex ,it sounds a little more throaty an I van tell cruising at 35-45 mph ,rpm is 7-8 grand it used to b 11-12 grand an at 55-60 its 13-14 grand instead of 16-18 ,havnt been able to check increase in mpg. Yet cause of just local driving an been warming up cause since I've had it ,its been very cold here in Ohio ,below zero to 20's degrees ,but will ck. Back when I take a good cruise I'm hoping an sure my mileage will b even better!!!
