This filter is s great value as it doesn't need to be changed as often as an OEM filter(paper) does. The filter gives my Outback a little boost that can really help in city driving. This filter has a lifetime guarantee so that gives you peace of mind knowing your covered.. Filter is easy to change, it took me about two minutes, and I'm not all that knowledgeable with cars, I very much recommend this filter. You'll save on having the dealer gouge you for replacing this every 3,000 miles,

Its not really the fault of the air filter so much as it is the WRX design. There is very little room in there, and I ended up having to take the whole intake manifold apart to get it installed. The filter itself didn't want to click right in, and it took some wiggling/force to get it all back together. I am still not happy with how it closed. I am taking the car in for service soon, and I am going to ask them to have a go at it. Good luck dealer...

Excellent quality and performance; save gasoline and increase power. When I installed this filter to my car, I spent more than an hour and still could not put back the cover tightly. I found out the radius of upper two corners are small than the cover inside the car (original shape of Green air filter is close to rectangular). Finally, I did a little cut and sleek the corners to fit for the cover.
